East Cork Early Music Announces New Directional Team

East Cork Early Music would like to welcome its new directional team, Norah O’Leary – Festival Director and Caitríona O’Mahony Artistic Director.

This new team is committed to continuing and expanding the work of the festival in creating exciting and ambitious programming in early music, showcasing the best of existing early music nationally and internationally, and introducing unheard historical or new works to audiences.







Under the new festival direction the 2018 edition of East Cork Early Music Festival will celebrate its fifteenth anniversary with a programme showcasing the exceptional standard of Irish Baroque artists fused with names of international acclaim.

Since its foundation in 2003, East Cork Early Music Festival has marked the gathering of internationally acclaimed historically informed musicians in Cork City and county each October. For 15 years the city and county’s historic venues have offered sensational enchanting experiences for local, regional and national audiences.
