Dear Friends,

We at the East Cork Early Music Festival would first of all like to thank you warmly for your past support of the festival, it means a great deal to us to receive continued support as we try to bring the best festival we can to Cork each October.

For this year, the countdown to the 13th East Cork Early Music Festival has begun! Once again, we are proud to present a fresh, ambitious, varied programme of Baroque music in Cork City and County, and look forward to hosting international specialists in collaboration with the best of Irish talent.

Long-established master musicians? Yes. Bright new talent? Yes! Cork Baroque Orchestra getting together again? Yes – with Madrigal 75, and Baroque oboe wizard Andreas Helm!

We can’t wait, so please do join us in Cork, Cobh & Midleton, 8th-11th October 2015! As a taster, and to help us meet costs of the festival this year, we hope to see as many of you as possible at this year’s Fundraising Gala Concert on Wednesday 9th September in St. Fin Barre’ s Cathedral, Cork!

To ensure we can keep the Festival up and running, we still need to raise a final €2500 in the next few weeks. Although generously supported by the Arts Council and County Council, the cost of running a festival of this scale and artistic ambition is high.

We are passionate about giving Irish and Irish-based professional musicians a rare and precious opportunity to work with the world’s best Early Music specialists, and we need your help to do this! We would like to warmly invite you to become part of the team and continue to support the festival by participating in this year’s Friends’ Scheme and offer a few tokens of our appreciation outlined below. Of course, outside of these, any donation of any amount makes a huge difference to us, and will be greatly appreciated. And with our website Donate button, donating to the festival has never been easier!

If you would prefer to pay by cheque, they can be sent to East Cork Early Music, 43 Marwood Lawn, Glanmire, Co.Cork.
