Bach’s hilarious coffee cantata shows a different side to the composer’s serious church music. Written to be performed in Leipzig’s main coffee house, this nonsensical whirlwind of a cantata features a petulant daughter, and an exasperated father persuading her to break her addiction to coffee or risk all her marriage prospects. Award-winning young Irish singers feature in this and other works, under the direction of harpsichordist David Adams, with the Royal Irish Academy of Music Baroque Ensemble.

Tickets are available from Nano Nagle Place, Douglas Street, Cork or below. Tickets are also available at the door subject to availability.
